This couple enjoyed a 4-tier wedding cake with ivory-colored icing for their reception. The cake was covered in black magic roses for a romantic and vintage feel. This huge cake was not only truly beautiful, but enough to serve hundreds of guests!
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
The TomKat wedding featured a beautiful monotone 5-tier white chocolate mousse wedding cake covered in marzipan roses. This cake had a very classic feel, with romantic roses and elegant piping. The layers were rounded slightly to give the cake a very uniform feel.
Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann
This wedding cake was truly unique and very over the top. It was a 6-tier cake that was seven feet tall and featured both chocolate and vanilla flavoring. It featured a gorgeous Swarovski crystal wedding cake topper.
Donald Trump and Melania Knauss
Perhaps the most over the top cake of all was that of Donald Trump and wife Melania Knauss. This Grand Marnier chiffon cake was only 7 tiers, but it weighed 50 pounds and was painstakingly covered in 3,000 white icing roses. The work that went into this cake was phenomenal and without a doubt the cake served hundreds.
These beautiful cakes were no doubt delicious, but they’re so outrageously huge and elaborate that they’ll make you feel better next time you worry about ordering too many hors d’oeuvres.
