Whether you’re into scrapbooking or not, this can be a unique way to get a sweet or funny message from each of your wedding guests. It takes the traditional guest book idea and makes it absolutely adorable. Here’s what you’ll need:
1 large scrapbook
Small envelopes (you can make or buy these; you should be able to fit several on one page.
Small note cards for inside the envelopes. You’ll need 1 for each guest.
Colored markers
It’s very simple. Simply affix the envelopes to the pages of the scrapbook, with the envelope opening facing out. You can do this any way you’d like. Your envelopes and note cards can be all the same size or different sizes to accommodate different message lengths. They can be all the same color or pattern; you can pretty much do whatever you want with this idea.
During the ceremony, leave the note cards near the scrapbook and provide the markers as well. If you want, you can create a little sign telling guests to leave a message and then tuck it into an empty envelope. The idea is beautiful and the bride and groom can have a blast going through each of the messages.
If you want to make it even more special, use larger envelopes and note cards and have guests take a Polaroid picture of themselves as they write the message. They can tuck that inside as well so you have a visual part of the guestbook. This is surely something you will cherish throughout the years!
